J+O SHIPPING POLICY

TERMS + CONDITIONS

J+O will ship your parcel Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays). 

All goods will be shipped the day after you receive an email receipt for your order confirmation. 

J+O Shipping Service within Canada

  • J+O ships via Canada Post at the clients cost.
  • $15 Canadian flat rate to ship within Canada
  • Ground service to receive within 5 business days
  • The shipping cost includes insurance, tracking number and signature approval for delivery
  • J+O will provide your shipment tracking number via email once goods have been shipped. 
  • All orders will be declared at the full purchase value
  • Taxes are not included in the price and added where applicable by law
  • Shipments within Ontario will be charged (HST 13%)
  • Shipments to BC will be charged (HST 12%)
  • Shipments outside of Ontario + BC will be charged the PST of that province + (GST 5%)
  • Jonathan+Olivia is not responsible for any additional shipping fees

J+O Shipping Service to USA

  • J+O ships via Canada Post at the clients cost. 
  • $25 Canadian flat rate to ship to USA
  • Xpress Post service to receive within 4 to 5 business days
  • The shipping cost includes insurance, tracking number and signature approval for delivery J+O will provide your shipment tracking number via email once goods have been shipped. 
  • All orders will be declared at the full purchase value
  • Taxes are not included in the price and added where applicable by law
  • Shipments outside of Canada are not required to pay any Canadian taxes Jonathan+Olivia is not responsible for any additional shipping fees (duties +custom brokerage etc).
  • Please consult the customs legislation's in your country for additional duty + customs charges to you.

J+O Shipping Service outside North America

  • J+O ships via Canada Post at the clients cost. 
  • $75 Canadian flat rate to ship outside North America
  • Xpress Post International service to receive within 7 business days
  • The shipping cost includes insurance, tracking number and signature approval for delivery
  • J+O will provide your shipment tracking number via email once goods have been shipped. 
  • All orders will be declared at the full purchase value
  • Taxes are not included in the price and added where applicable by law
  • Shipments outside of Canada are not required to pay any Canadian taxes
  • Jonathan+Olivia is not responsible for any additional shipping fees (duties +custom brokerage etc).  Please consult the customs legislation's in your country for additional duty + customs charges to you.

WRONG ADDRESS SHIPMENTS

If the shipment is returned to the boutique due to Jonathan+Olivia entering the incorrect shipping information, we would like to apologize and offer you a couple of options: 

1. Jonathan+Olivia will cover the cost of re-shipping the item to you following the J+O shipping service
2. You can decide to decline these goods to be re-shipped to you and Jonathan+Olivia will refund the purchase of the goods including the refund of your original shipping charges following the J+O shipping service

  • If the shipment is returned to Jonathan+Olivia due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, J+O is not responsible for payment of the original shipping charge, including any additional shipping fees (duties + brokerage etc)
  • The purchase is non-refundable and will be re-sent to you at your cost


LOST SHIPMENTS VIA CANADA POST

  • It is very uncommon for shipments to get lost.  However if this occurs Jonathan+Olivia will do it’s best to help locate your shipment
  • Insurance must be purchased by the client to cover the cost of lost shipments paid out by the shipper

Canada Post lost shipment process

  • In order for a shipment to be considered lost, a package must be undelivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and within 90 days of the shipping date.  A report cannot be made until then.
  • If this occurs please email info@jonathanandolivia.com with your full name, ship to address, original tracking number and date of purchase
  • J+O will submit a lost package report to Canada Post
  • Canada Post will conduct a complete investigation to locate the package.
  • The Canada Post search process usually takes seven to 10 business days
  • If Canada Post can locate the package the goods will be re-shipped to the customer
  • If Canada Post is unable to locate the missing package, they will contact Jonathan+Olivia.  Once J+O receive the claim letter, the customer will be refunded for the cost of goods including the original shipping charges. 
  • Jonathan+Olivia is not responsible for the refund of any additional shipping fees

J+O QUALITY CONTROL

Every item purchased via the J+O online shop has been physically checked over using the J+O quality control system.  You will receive the quality control checklist completed by the store manager with your purchase.

Jonathan+Olivia is not responsible for damaged packages due to shipping.
